MY STORY
I grew up playing softball, and before I got to college, I poured everything into the physical side of my sport. I had no idea how important it was to train my mind, too. But during my freshman year of college, that truth hit me hard. I failed repeatedly and didn’t know how to recover. Without the tools to reset, I found myself stuck in my own thoughts, convinced something was wrong with me and that everyone else had it figured out.
Everything changed when I began learning mental skills. Once I started training my mind, my performance rose, my confidence returned, and I rediscovered my love for the game (and yes - the stats back it up). That transformation is why I’m passionate about teaching athletes how to rebound from failure, perform with confidence, and experience joy in their sport again.
Today, I teach athletes and teams the same mental skills that completely reshaped my own career. These tools don’t just develop you as an athlete, they strengthen your character and prepare you for life.
Doubt and failure will show up, but when you commit to the process of training your mind, nothing has the power to pull you off course.Â
Hi, I'm Coach Bec! Â

MY BIO
Rebecca Murray is a collegiate softball coach at Berry College with a distinguished background as both a high-level Division I athlete and a Mental Performance Coach. A four-year starter at Elon University and a one-year starter at NC State University, she started every game of her collegiate career, competing with a consistent, dependable, high performance standard every time she took the field.
Today, Rebecca brings that same excellence into her coaching. Blending real on-field experience with practical, process-driven mental skills training, she helps athletes strengthen their mindset, elevate their performance, and stay grounded under pressure. Her coaching philosophy is rooted in one belief: confidence is built through preparation, not chance.
With a focus on developing athletes who show up with clarity and purpose, Rebecca equips teams with the tools to compete at a high level and navigate adversity with resilience. Her mission is simple: to develop confident, disciplined, high-character athletes, prepared not only for the demands of their sport, but for the challenges of life.
My ApproachÂ
Â
Great athletes aren’t built by talent alone. They’re built by preparation, intentional habits, and a trained mind. My approach teaches athletes how to think, respond, and compete with purpose so they can step into their full potential and perform with confidence.
I focus on mental skills that work in real moments: how to handle pressure, reset after mistakes, manage your thoughts, and stay grounded in your process. Everything is practical, actionable, and immediately useful — the kind of tools athletes can apply in practice today and feel in competition tomorrow.
My goal is simple: to help athletes become steady, confident, and mentally disciplined performers who show up with consistency and compete with clarity. When athletes learn to control their mind, they unlock a level of performance that’s not only repeatable and dependable, but exciting. They start to trust themselves and believe in what they’re capable of.
This is mental training that builds confidence. This is preparation that lasts.Â
This is where athletes learn to rise with purpose and compete like the player they were meant to be.
